COMPARISON BETWEEN FLOW CYTOMETERIC METHOD AND OTHER METHODS FORRETICULOCYTE COUNT IN DIAGNOSIS OF PHENYLHYDRAZINE-INDUCED HEMOLYTIC ANEMIA

Reticulocyte count is the salient evidence of effectiveness bone marrow to produce red blood cells. Currently, reticulocyte counting a challenge for clinical laboratoriesmainly ordinary ones, which still use manual method.This study was designed evaluate performance flow cytometer reticulocytes comparing traditional and optimized methods helpful in diagnosis phenylhydazine-induced anemia.For that 45 male white Albino rats were divided into 5 groups, control group,phenylhydrazine group (PHZ) injected by phz(20 mg/kg b.w, I/P),quercetin+phz (quercetin, 50 mg/kgb.w per os), silymarin+phz (silymarin, 100 os) quercetin group. Whole samples these groups collected at day 3, 10 after 1st injection phz used counts cytometeric method other addition measurement ofCBC osmotic fragility. Analysis results showed phenylhydrazine induced hemolytic anemia with significant reticulocytosis using more precise, easy fast than methods. Furthermore, degree hemolysis significantly increases groups. Therefore, we concluded cytometric simple, highly reliable comparable Also perfect nearly accuracy method.
